Study Day: Women in the Early Modern Art World

The study day “Women in the Early Modern Art World” pays attention to diverse feminist approaches in art history and their significance for the study of early modern art. In several lectures, researchers working at the university and at the museum will discuss their recently established and ongoing scholarly and museum research projects. The Art History Research School is organizing the study day in collaboration with the Rijksmuseum, in connection with the multi-year research program “Women of the Rijksmuseum”. Afterwards, there will be an opportunity to visit the ‘Women on Paper’ exhibition at the Rijksmuseum.
